Sewing the Final Garment

The most difficult part of sewing this garment was making sure all the panels line up and making sure the pleats are sewn at the right measurement. If a pleat is sewn too big or too small, it'll throw off the whole fit of the garment. One thing I didn't take into consideration was the fact that embroidering the straps made them a little smaller. At first I thought this would ruin my whole design, but once I got all the straps laid out, I saw that they only shrunk by 1/8" and still fit!
